I grew up in Hawai‘i, surrounded by diverse cultures, including my Japanese heritage. This background taught me to value empathy, community, and restraint. That perspective continues to influence my approach to design, fostering care and curiosity for the people I’m designing for.

I first stepped into design through esports and brand marketing at the University of Hawai‘i, then continued growing at Servco. Those early experiences taught me how to move fast, collaborate across teams, and communicate with clarity.

Today, I use that foundation to design thoughtful software and brands in and for Hawai‘i, where great design is still rare but deeply needed.

Do you work with startups or larger companies?

Both. I enjoy working with early-stage startups to bring ideas to life, but I’ve also supported enterprise teams.

What's your typical process like?

I begin by figuring out your needs and then adjust the process accordingly. If things change, I remain flexible and focused on clear progress.

Can you work with my team or developers?

Absolutely. I will seamlessly integrate with your workflow, product teams, engineers, and project managers.

Do you code?

I primarily focus on design, but I can also create interactive prototypes and develop websites in Framer.

What tools do you use?

I use Figma, Framer, and Notion. For collaboration, I keep things simple: Notion for project management, and Figma comments for async updates.
